Bio-entrepreneurship as a tool to address sustainability and welfare challenges

Main Hall

13:30 – 14:30h

The biotechnology sector occupies an increasingly relevant position in the Spanish business context due to the growth experienced in recent years. The availability of increasingly advanced technologies, scientific progress and the boom in innovation in areas such as health or environmental sustainability are the perfect breeding ground for biotechnology entrepreneurship.

In order to take advantage of the commercial potential of an innovative idea, it is not only necessary to have an entrepreneurial vocation, but also to follow a series of steps ranging from a market analysis to the development of a business plan or the search for sources of funding, among others. The participants in this panel will share their experience in the processes of building, developing and consolidating companies in the biotechnology sector.
