Bioplastics: PLA applications and end-of-life applications

Jenifer Mitja holds a degree in Industrial Chemical Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC) and in Materials Engineering from the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB). She has worked in different companies in the packaging and plastics sector in the roles of applications engineer, head of film R&D, among others. In 2015, Jenifer joined Corbion as an application engineer for bioplastics. In 2017, when the joint venture Total Corbion PLA bv was created, she joined as an application engineer for PLA, focusing on extrusion and powder coating applications. She currently combines her work as Applications Engineer with the role of Account Manager in Iberia at the now TotalEnergies Corbion.
