Open innovation processes have been introduced in recent years in many economic sectors, and the agri-food sector is one of the sectors that is undergoing the greatest transformation. Seeking knowledge and technology outside the company environment, favouring collaboration between different agents to find solutions to global food problems, has become a necessity for a large part of the world’s food industry.

This session will present how large food corporations and emerging agri-food-tech companies can collaborate to boost a primary sector increasingly accustomed to the implementation of new technologies.
