The SMARTgnostics project is driven by a multidisciplinary consortium and led by ALS Portugal. It aims to develop and produce laboratory and point-of-care (POC) devices for the fields of human️ and animal health, food safety and environmental monitoring. These devices will focus on antimicrobial resistance by detecting drug-resistant pathogens, resistance genes and antibiotic residues.
