Vigo – Peinador
Vigo-Peinador International Airport, commonly known as Peinador Airport, is located just 9 km from the city center.
The airport offers taxi services and there is also a regular bus line connecting the airport with the city center seven days a week.
Francisco Sá Carneiro Airport is the main international airport in northern Portugal, with extensive European connectivity.
It is approximately 150 km from Vigo, about 1 h 30 min by car or bus.

It connects with major cities in Spain such as Madrid, Barcelona, Asturias, Cádiz, and Algeciras. There are also frequent connections with Santiago, Ferrol, Lugo, A Coruña, Ourense, and Pontevedra.
Vigo has excellent road connections. It is linked to Madrid via the A-52 and A-6 highways, as well as the N-525 national road. Connections to Ferrol, A Coruña, and Santiago are available via the N-550 and AP-9.
Any foreign visitor (non-European Union) will need a valid passport and must obtain a Spanish visa. Citizens of some associated countries may enter without a visa.
